If they force us to buy all the other figs just to get the couple we want, then I am out.
Yeah, no. Considering that all signs are pointing to these having the same price points as the Ultimates, spending an extra $105+ upfront on 3 figures I have no interest in just to get the single one I do want is a ridiculous proposition, I don’t care if they triple or even quadruple down the road.
Buy the FIlmation set. Keep on the other 3 for a year, by then they’ll have doubled in price on the aftermarket. I think that’s more likely to happen than with the Classics 4-some.
Man, that minicomic 3-pack are the three figures I was going to customize once the line was over! I can’t wait to get my hands on tha–

Lord of Light is from Jack Kirby concept art for a fake movie that was used as a cover to extract hostages in Iran in the late 70s (as seen in the movie Argo) Cant believe they making a figure of that-the WIP looks great too.

Oh man… Planet of the Apes figures in the same style and size as my vintage Star Wars figures? Yes, please! I would have loved to have those as a kid in the ’70s and ’80s! I’m really digging the ReAction line now that Super7 is handling it all themselves. They really get that classic Kenner sensibility.
Any word on what that second three-pack is? They look great, but I’m absolutely clueless as to who they are.
