The Creatureplica Facebook page is showing off finished product samples of their Cryptid action figure in package and they look fantastic. The Sasquatch, Yeti, Horrorhound, and Rougarou are all going to look fantastic stalking the other toys on your shelf. Plus they are up for pre-order!

That, my friends, is a thing of beauty. Something that Jean St. Jean has been working on for a while and is now in the final stages. An endeavor on the brink of fruition. Now the wait for the factory to produce them and then the process of getting them to customers. So close that you can taste it.

I believe we somehow missed the initial kick-off for pre-orders, but it’s not too late. Get to Creatureplica.com and put your orders in. The expected delivery date is Jan/Feb 2016 but it looks like they are trying to beat that.

I can’t speak for you, but I can’t wait for these. They are going to fit right in with my collection and I may even need a couple of extras to double as other characters.

  1. I make decent money, but I find this just too expensive. I think shipping maybe the real killer here. I think 35 for these would be nicer….but shipping is just astronomical. Maybe these companies should try to sell figures without packaging and see how they sell directly to the consumers.

I am not an action figure producer, inventor or maker, just a consumer. but in the end, shipping is the deal breaker.

Legends has another few bucks to go before I quit….it is almost there. I ignore Bucky Caps now, and any poor repaints. If not re-tooled well, I will not buy. Now I have a few BAF pieces I may look to trade or buy pieces separately.

  2. Haha, didn’t wanna be a one trick pony. Plus, I’m pretty sure I’ve made my feeling on the figure pretty evident by now 😀

  3. RHINO-MAN! Dude! Missed you on the MARVEL LEGENDS RHINO BAF review!?
Out of all the fans out there,I knew that you would gush on Alexei for sure!?
    What HAPPENED?
Looking forward to your musings on the subject of the review.?

  4. “Value and worth are two very different things.” ~?

This is an excellent example of the very idea I and others attempted to show you about being fastidious in regard to your particular taste in over-the top-high end collectibles instead of commercial intermediate grade toys like DCUC MARVEL legends etc.
    It’s simple economic logic.
Pay more(a lot more)for more bells and whistles(options that is) in TODAY’S market if you want your legends on par with these Creaturereplica,be prepared to PAY-through the nose?!
I love marvel legends, but I would QUIT if they cost the same as these at my current salary.
Question is How much see they worth to YOU and what are you willing to pay, friend??

  5. Yeah – it’s the shipping that kills it for me (same as with the Mythic Legions kickstarter). I really want a Bigfoot and a Yeti. Word is they’re supposed to get to BBTS and Entertainment Earth as well. Guess I’ll wait and see.

  6. Not to be a parrot, but I want the hell out of these, and if I saw them on the shelf for $35, I’d not hesitate to grab them, but yeah, the shipping makes it a little steep for me to consider right now. It’s a shame, because I already see these having a niche market, some people thinking $35 a pop is too much, and the combined pricing alienating (no pun intended) a lot of people. I’m already kind of concerned about the future of the line….

  7. Unfortunately, the shipping costed me out too. Really hoping they get to retail so I can pick them up, though.

  8. 45 shipped is harsh. I have been waiting and wanting/ I hope a retailer takes these to lessen the shipped cost.

  9. Yeah, unfortunately the shipping cost makes them too expensive. If you buy the complete set the shipping cost is $29.99, but one by one it’s $39.99. They should combine shipping so the more you buy the cheaper the shipping cost is.

  10. I really like the Sasquatch figure, but at $44.98 shipped is just too much for a single figure. I’m OUT!!
