We saw the carded pics. Now we’re back to the ol’ Hong Kong eBay trick to see the figures loose and up close!
And what a great set of figures they are! Granted, these are the latest and greatest and most of us are already a series behind with Series 1 barely hitting stores, but really. C’mon. Batroc! But if I had a choice after seeing these loose pic I’d have to go with Spider-Woman as my favorite. Don’t ask me why, the costume and hair sculpt just does it for me.
The surprise “We should have had him a while ago and now he’s in a later series” figure, Batroc is pure comic awesomeness. So glad this figure is making it out. Sorry for the one pic, it wants to save that way, click the link to the eBay auction above to see the original.
Not sure I remember the blue deco being on the face of the proto. I love this figure. Besides it being Hellcat it has so much custom potential. Crystal. Firestar. I need a few.
The BAF of the wave, this modern interpretation seems to be missing an Infinity Gauntlet. The face also seems to have lost something. Texture? Paint? He still looks Thanosy so I’m good, may have to do a little tweaking though.
What we all thought to be a rehash of the first Avenger Hulk really isn’t. The head, arms, and feet seem to be the same but the torso, waist, legs, and fists are new. A little more slender in build. Going to have to wait to have him in hand before making any final decisions here.
Avengers: Age of Ultron Iron Man Mark 43
Tony is a complete reuse of the Mark 42 armor. But, we do get a partially unmasked Stark head so that’s kind of nice. And the reversed paints give him a more comic and different feel.
Like I said above, she may be my favorite. The hands may be a little large but she is such a step up from the first Spider-Woman that I can overlook that for now. It looks like those extra web deals are actually interchangeable underarm webbings, one set of small and one set of large.
Avengers: Age of Ultron Captain America
Harder to tell here but that is a new torso on Cap, the rest is the Winter Soldier uniform. I liked the WS uniform and I like the update here. More Captain America colored while keeping the uniform aspect.
