Hasbro had some interesting items on display for preview night, but the most impressive item was the three pack of Captain America, Ms. Marvel and Radioactive Man. Radioactive Man is one of those ‘in limbo’ figures we had seen at last year’s con, so it’s great to see them find a way to release this classic villain.
They also had the previously revealed Jubilee wave, the SDCC exclusives and the upcoming Walgreens exclusive Agent Venom. They all looked great in person.
Also interesting were the hero-mashers. I’m already attracted by the blocky chunky style, but it really looks great with the clear figures like Electro and Ice Man.
While not Hasbro, they did have a prop from the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy on site for photo opportunities. It’s impressive in person and has a great, lived-in feel to it.
