Once again, new figures pop up on eBay out of Hong Kong. And really, does anyone really expect anything else after all these years? Hell, it’s like an extra toy show for every release. We get the announcement, see promo pics, then they pop up on eBay, we preorder, maybe see a glimpse at a real toy con, and then boom! We have toys! This time it’s for the Star Wars Black Speeder with Trooper and both regular release Jabba and the SDCC version with Salacious Crumb and hookah. Jabba actually looks better than I remember from Hasbro’s official press pics of the final product, so that’s a good thing. And I can’t wait to get my hands on a few Speeder Bikes and Troopers. That’s right, a few!
It’s nice to see Jabba can rotate at his “waist” to put his tail behind him but it’s too bad the paint goes all wonky. And what’s with the big “CE” on the side panel of the Speeder? Isn’t there a less obvious place to put that?
