I love the gladiator base, and Metallics used. Agree on Blastaar, classics are the way to go.
Also, i dislike the hulk base for Blastaar. I just feel we got it enough so far and Hasbro needs to use other molds for hulk sized characters but that’s slight nitpicking. Tons of sculpt work makes it somewhat acceptable.
Love the character selection! Brilliant! Not 100% with the base of Galdiator but to each his own. I wish they had gone with the Doc Sampson base (new hips and thighs of course), but I’ll take it. Love we are getting Medusa, and hope we see a classic costume repaint down the line. Blastaar is meh to me, again I’m hooked on the classic look, but the modern look will fit with the rest of the Annihilation crew. I’m glad we are getting Star Lord, he’ll go well with Rocket. LOVE! The updated Black Bolt, the previous Black Bolt was ok, but not without faults. This one? Bueno!

Wouldn’t this set have been a great place to put the figures we didn’t end up gettin last year? Iron fist. Sentry. Blade. Bulldozer. Or some of the figures from the two packs that got voted on a few years ago that we never saw again? Hell, make a second set for $50 of 5 multiple mans!
Have people been really begging for blastaar? I don’t get his inclusion here.
Also gladiator looks a little rough. Hyperion body was right way to go, but his proportions seem a little off.
Glad to have a new black bolt. Hasbros first try was one of their worst figures.
Medusas is nice but I know we will all have to glue her to the damn display with those heels.
Star lord is pretty hard to mess up with the aim soldier body base, but we are getting two starlords in one year!

Kind of dumb. It’s incredibly hard to get into the SDCC in the first place, then they are limited to add insult to injury. It reminds me of the article posted here awhile back. “Why you no want me to buy toys”!!!
Not trying to complain but this would have been the perfect spot for a comic book Annihilation Gamora. They’d never be able to do that costume at retail. Good set though. Blastarr is a nice surprise.
