Wave one of the new Star Wars 6-inch Black Series is officially hitting retail this month, and the excitement level is now super high for this line! With some great figures in hand and some more great ones coming, we figured it’s only fitting that it’s time we gave it the ol’ Fwoosh top-ten treatment!
Most of us have wave one in our grubby little hands by now, and to quote a famous Sith Lord, “They are impressive. Most impressive.” Wave one blew us away like the Death Star did to Alderaan. If getting wave one wasn’t enough to drive us crazy with excitement, we’ve also been shown official pictures of waves two and three. From the pics of the upcoming figures, it definitely looks like there will be no letdown any time soon.
So stay tuned to this page for the official voting to start. Come in, cast your vote, and hopefully we can let Hasbro and the Star Wars Black team know who we want to see in the upcoming waves!
Anxiously awaiting the vote! This line has me more excited about Star Wars than I have been in a long time.
I’m excited about the vote! I’m in love with this line, despite MOTUC eating up my disposable income. Still, with waves of 4 figures a few times a year at most, I’m enjoying this. (Eric, I think we could see as many as 12-16 figures in later years.) I do hope the Slave Leia we’ve seen pictures of turns out a bit…prettier.
Figures I’m looking forward to most include Yoda, Chewbacca, Vader, Jar Jar Binks (Yes, really!), and hopefully Ahsoka and Rex.
i would like to think that Darth Vader would be in wave 4 which would hopefully be out in the spring of 2014,, but the one figure I most want to see would be Darth Sidious ROTS version, or if hasbro did The Emperor ROTJ version either one would be pretty sweet. Didn’t hasbro say when this 6 inch line came out that we will only be getting about 8 figures a year, if they keep to that # of figures wave 3 would prob be hitting retail in the winter of 2014 and we already know what figures are in that wave and if the 8 figure distribution is correct that leaves us with only 4 figures to look forward to all of next year. Not sure why hasbro decided to throw another Luke at us even though its a Bespin Luke, would have liked to see another character introduced to the line, but seeing new star wars figures at retail is always a good thing. Here is to hoping the line continues on strong and we at least get to see 12 figures released a year “a new wave every 4 months sounds pretty good!!!!”
