We know you have been waiting a long time for this. Finally, the “Main Man” is coming to your JLU shelf by way of Matty Collector this June. I am pretty sure that, next to the Green Lantern that will not be mentioned, Lobo is the most fan requested figure out there. Mattel and DC found a way to get him to the fans (since he is a little bit on the violent side for the youngsters) and he will be a gauge to test if more figures like him will be possible for a similar release down the road – Kalibak, perhaps?
Well, now one lucky fan is going to get a chance to win this figure FOR FREE before anyone else! How do you ask? Well, it is simple – all you really have to do is respond to this with your personal feelings/story/reason why it is great to finally have Lobo in your JLU collection.
Pretty simple, eh? We are even going to leave him on the card and ship him in his white mailer box so he will arrive just as if you ordered him. Here are some carded picture we took so you can see him up-close, but if you enter you have a chance of seeing him even closer – as in on your shelf! There is some fine print below with rules and legal so please read EVERYTHING carefully prior to entering. More after the jump!
Entrance Criteria
- To enter, simply write something about “why it is great to finally get Lobo for your JLU collection” and respond to this article below using the Leave a Reply function. The reply does not have to be a novel, but a little more than just a couple of words is preferred.
- The drawing will be open to everyone (excluding staff and employees of TheFwoosh.com and Mattel).
- You MUST include a valid email address when you respond (the winner will be contacted via email).
- You must be over 18 to enter.
*Note: entries thought to be outside of the above criteria may be removed from consideration without the entrant being notified.
Prize Drawing
1 (ONE) winner will be drawn AT RANDOM from the respondents and the chosen winner will receive 1 (ONE) Justice League Unlimited Lobo figure.
Fine Print
- The entry period will end at 11:59 pm CST on Sunday, May 9th. No entries will be accepted after that time.
- Shipping will be free to a winner within the United States (USA). International entries will be accepted, however, an international winner will be responsible for paying the actual cost of shipping and handling (via PayPal ONLY) determined by location. All shipping fees must be paid prior to the shipment of the prize. The charge is for S&H only, not for Lobo. If you are unwilling or unable to meet this criteria another winner will be selected.
- The selected winner will be contacted via email (the email attached to the reply) and he/she will have 24 hours to respond with their shipping information. If you do not respond within 24 hours, you will be disqualified and we will randomly select another winner.
- Staff members at TheFwoosh.com, and employees of Mattel are not eligible for this contest (sorry guys!)
- By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to hold TheFwoosh.com and Mattel, Inc. and their respective directors, officers, employees and assigns harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of the use or redemption of the prize.
