Earlier today, Art Asylum and Diamond Select Toys announced a new line of Minimates based on the legendary rock band, The Beatles. This line will include box sets from different points in the band’s illustrious career. The first set displayed was A Hard Day’s Night, based on the band’s appearance in the 1964 film. Other sets that were announced include Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band, Magical Mystery Tour, and the Let It Be rooftop performance. DST is currently in discussions with the license holders to produce Minimates based on the band’s post-break-up appearances as well. Chuck from DST even hinted at a Completely Nude John Lennon / Yoko Ono 2-pack as a possible SDCC exclusive.
